CV Cheer Camp 2026

Cheers to America 250!
You are receiving this email because you registered your child to participate in the Cumberland Valley Cheer Camp next week on August 18, 19, and 20 from 9 AM – 12 noon each day. Our America 250 themed camp is designed to bring the energy and spirit of the nation to life as our campers build their skills, confidence, and team spirit for under the lights at the first home football game of the season. Below you will find important information.

Arrival:  On Tuesday, August 18, check-in will begin at 8:45 am at Mountain View Middle School, 30 Bali Hai Road, Mechanicsburg. Please enter through the main entrance to check in your child at the tables in the lobby and pick up your child’s name tag.
 

Water/Snack:  Please send a water bottle labeled BOLDLY with your child’s name along with a small, easy to eat snack with your child. They will have time to eat their snack during buddy group time. 
 

Pick Up:  Pick up is at 12 noon on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please enter the main entrance doors at Mountain View to pick up your children who will be seated in their assigned Spirit Spots in the gym. On Thursday, there will be a showcase for family and friends from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the Mountain View Gymnasium. Once the showcase has concluded, you are welcome to take photos before taking your child home. 
 

Tuesday:  On Day 1 (Tuesday), campers are to arrive at camp dressed in as much RED and WHITE as possible! Please make sure campers wear sneakers every day.
 

Wednesday:  Day 2 (Wednesday) is PATRIOTIC DAY (optional). Campers may show their spirit by wearing any red, white or blue clothing or USA gear as we celebrate USA’s 250th birthday! Campers will receive patriotic temporary tattoos on Day 2. 
 

Thursday:  On Day 3 (Thursday), don't miss our special Friends and Family Showcase at 11:30 amfor our campers to show everything they learned at camp. Please have your child wear her NEW white camp shirt with black bottoms that day. We will send home the camp shirts on Wednesday. Due to the large number of campers, the showcase will end at approximately 12:30 pm.
 

Social Media:  During camp, please be sure to follow us on social media where we will post pictures and video clips from camp. We love to repost your photos and videos so be sure to tag us!

Football Game:  As an added bonus, all campers have the opportunity to cheer under the lights with the CV Varsity Cheerleaders during the first home football game of the season on Friday, August 28th against Manheim Township. Campers are asked to arrive at CV’s Chapman Field at 6:30 pm in their white cheer camp shirt (present ticket for admission) in order to be part of the gigantic spirit line. Tickets and specific details about the football game will be sent home with all campers.
 

We have an action-packed and fun-filled camp planned, full of themed activities, skill building, and plenty of cheer spirit. We can't wait to kick off the fun. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
