2025 PA COMBINE UPDATE
Hello Combine Athletes!
It’s Combine week! And we are so excited to host you at the 3rd annual Pennsylvania College Cheerleading Recruitment Combine this Sunday! Our goal is to provide an event where athletes can speak directly to 40+ college coaches while also showcasing their skills. We hope you find your future college cheerleading home while here at the PA Combine!
Please make sure that you have read through the combine website:https://thisiscvcheer.org/pacombine. All the information you will need is on that website including the day of schedule and the campus map. When you arrive, please follow the signs to the cheerleader entrance.
One addition to the schedule is the optional Parent Information Meeting at 12pm. This is during the athlete warm up, so your parents will not miss the showcase. In this meeting, your parents will learn what to expect as a parent of a college cheerleader. Parents - look for the signs leading to the LGI Room (near the entrance where you walk into the building).
If you have been to the Combine in the past, we have a few changes that we hope will make the event run smoothly:

1. Athletes will be wearing grade-specific colored t-shirts so it is easier for you to identify what grade they are in. Athlete numbers are also assigned by the following:
9th graders - 100s (white t-shirt)
10th graders - 200s (red t-shirt)
11th graders - 300s and 400s (black t-shirt)
12th graders - 500s (grey t-shirt)
2. In order to allow more room for the coaches to view the tumbling and jump showcase, parents will only be able to sit in the upper bleachers behind the athletes. Please follow the signs to parent seating.
3. In an effort to get through the tumbling and jump portion a little faster, athletes will showcase their standing, running, and jumps all at once. If you are one of the first athletes to showcase your jumps and tumbling, you will have a large break before the stunting showcase. Use that time to grab something to eat or to put a stunt group together if you don’t already have one!
4. We will be providing a printed version of the attending colleges overview to athletes and parents as they enter the event.
5. We will have a local coffee shop, Nour, on the premises selling specialty coffee from their coffee truck right outside of the athlete entrance. They will be set up from 9:30am - 2pm.
